So, I decided to research and see what happens when you get 1 million views on TikTok.

I found out that it depends on who you are, where you live, and the kind of content you post. But generally speaking, getting 1 million views can take an average of three years on TikTok.

What Factors Influence the TikTok Algorithm:

According to the TikTok algorithm, each user’s content is ranked by their online interactions with others, including views, likes, revines, etc. The more you interact with other users the higher your content rank will be, and consequently, more people will see your content. This means that if you are getting a lot of views on your TikTok videos, more people will see it and you will get even more views. By the time that cycle stops, you could be at 1 million views.

It also depends on how many times your content is shared as well as who’s sharing it. If a lot of influential accounts share your video on their page, that could mean that you get even more views. And this is true to any social media platform.

Get more users on your phone or app

You can also get more views on TikTok by getting others to use the app. It’s simple enough. When you sign up for TikTok, usually, your friends are able to see that so they get notified of it and will check out what all the hype is about. And if they are curious in finding out what this newly popular app is all about, they might get the app and start using it too.

In addition to that, if you have a lot of friends on TikTok already, then more of them will see your content when they search for videos on their feeds because your name will pop up as a suggested video even if no one actually watched your video. But if you have a lot of followers on TikTok, your friends will be able to see it because they’ll see your name as an option for suggested videos.

Also, if you are getting lots of likes and revines (hearts) then even more people will see your name pop up on their suggested feed.

It’s difficult to get to 1 million views on TikTok, because the algorithm changes daily. But if you want to try, make sure your content is engaging and different from everyone else. If not, at least make sure it’s original too. Also, consider getting influencers or companies with large social media platforms like YouTube or Instagram to promote your videos. This will help you reach the 1 million mark faster. If this doesn’t work, try to get as many views as possible by making sure your friends are aware of TikTok and start using it too.
